After the Garden

The manuscript is complete and querying.
In AFTER THE GARDEN, the figures known only as Man and Living awaken to a world unknown to them. Cast out from Eden into a harsh and unfamiliar earth around 10,000 BC, they possess only fragments of memories of a paradice lost and of the God they once walked with. Though they have been mysteriously equipped with the skills and tools needed to survive, they must quickly learn how to live in this new and unforgiving world. Driven by the need for water, they set out in search of a river, beginning a journey marked by hardship, discovery, and revelation. As their memories slowly return, so too does the weight of their rebellion and its consequences. They come to understand that God has not abandoned them, but His presence has changed. No longer walking beside them as before, He is now distant yet near, leading them to call Him Father. Along their journey, Man is given a series of vivid dreams that reveal the creation of the universe, the shaping of the world and the spiritual structure of heavenly places. These visions deepen their understanding of their place in a story far larger than themselves. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they discover they are not alone. Other people inhabit this world. People with their own history, beliefs, and gods. Unlike everything else they were given, knowledge of these people was withheld, forcing Man and Living to proceed with caution. When they finally encounter them, the differences are stark. What begins as curiosity turns into conflict, as their devotion to the Father clashes with the people’s pagan customs. The encounter ends in a decisive and painful separation, and these people become known to them as the Land of Wanderers. At last, Man and Living find a place beside a river where they can begin again. There, they build a home, cultivate the land and raise animals, laying the foundation for a new life. The story closes with the birth and upbringing of their sons as the new family begins to shape the future of humanity, carrying with them the memory of Eden, the cost of disobedience, and the promise of redemption.
